Anti-wrinkle treatments are generally well-tolerated, with minimal side effects or complications. The most common side effect is temporary redness at the injection sites, which usually subsides quickly. It is important to avoid massaging or rubbing the treated areas after your anti-wrinkle injections, as this can cause the product to spread to unintended muscles.
In some cases, mild bruising may occur at the injection sites. To minimise the risk of bruising, we recommend taking Arnica tablets for one week before your appointment. If bruising does occur, applying a topical Arnica cream and icing the affected area can help speed up the healing process.
After your anti-wrinkle treatment, it is advisable to avoid strenuous exercise for up to 24 hours to allow the product to settle properly and to reduce the risk of side effects
